Bio—

A life long Georgian, I have always lived in Metro Atlanta. After I graduated from Morrow High School, I earned my undergraduate degree at the University of South Carolina and my J.D. from the College of Law at Georgia State University where I won national awards for trial advocacy. I began my legal career at the Clayton County Solicitor General’s Office prosecuting misdemeanors and then went on to prosecute major felony cases as an assistant district attorney in the Alcovy Judicial Curcuit. Following my years as a prosecutor, I worked for an Atlanta firm representing some of the nation’s largest insurance companies and their insureds as well as several large corporations. I also began my criminal defense career while working for that Atlanta firm.

Over the course of my career, I have tried cases in almost every major jurisdiction in the state and have spent time in the courtrooms of every metropolitan county. I have handled more than 1,000 bench trials and not less than 200 jury trials. With more than two decades of litigation experience on both sides of personal injury and criminal cases, I offer clients throughout Atlanta and the State of Georgia knowledgeable and committed personal injury and criminal defense representation. My firm also handles family law and domestic litigation, we represent businesses in general civil litigation, and we help our clients with estate planning matters. In short, if you need legal representation, you have come to the right place. You have found a place where we are deeply concerned about taking care of and doing the right thing for you.

In addition to practicing law, I now teach law students how to try cases and am a law school evidence professor, teaching them not only how to be strong professional advocates, but also how to influence their communities for the better through this calling. I have served the Henry County community as the president of the Henry Bar Association, a mock trial coach and regional mock trial coordinator, and as member of the board of directors for several nonprofit organizations. I would count it a privilege to serve you and your family or business.

I am committed to helping you, to walking with you, to helping carry your burden, and to helping you seek justice and get the proper result for your case.
